Yes, yes, yes! We want you to feel at home with your kinks while you are at The Academy. Most kinksters accumulate a collection of favorite implements and acquire the skills to wield them effectively. For people who are new to kink, The Academy has a limited number of kinky toys that are available for you to use. Please leave them at the Concierge Station when you are finished with them for our staff to sanitize. There is some rope on the toy rack, but like other toys, when you really get into it, you’ll want to have your own.

We don’t provide things like gloves, needles, sounds, dildos and other insertables. Single use play items are on you. Insertables, well, you’d probably prefer to bring your own, anyway. We do have pads and chucks for minor bodily fluid containment and condoms and lubes should you need them. Sorry, our facility does not accommodate water sports.

The Academy is a BDSM/Kinky play space and social space. You don’t have to be too kinky. Do you just want to watch? We are very accommodating of that with ample comfortable seating all around. Maybe you just want to try out a few things. Ok, that’s good too. If you just want to express that certain side of yourself, things like being tied up, being spanked, seriously flogged or even having sex, then you have come to the right space. Voyeurs and Exhibitionist are welcome. If you need a little visual privacy for your play, we have several curtained rooms to accommodate you.

You can make noise! There are no neighbors to disturb at The Academy. So your play can get a little loud, without objection. General conversations belong in the social areas as loud talking becomes disruptive of the dungeon scene. You may consider that everyone at The Academy is there to do things similar to what you want to do. The Academy is a large space. No one is compelled to watch or participate in something that they don’t feel comfortable with. Use the “2 feet” rule. Use your 2 feet and just move to another location, maybe the breakroom and grab a cookie, and have yourself a fun evening.

We don’t want your pictures, but you probably do. Academy does not have a house camera. You will need to bring your own. The Academy allows personal photography in the side rooms only. Everyone in the room must have a photo release on file. You can print a copy of our release from our Membership page or get one from the front desk. MOD must be notified and be present when your pictures are being taken. The Academy reserves the right to review all of the pictures in your camera, prior to your leaving the premises. (This is for the protection of all our membership). Any unauthorized photography on the Academy property may result in your removal and the forfeiture of your membership.

Yes. Your Academy experience is important to us. In the unlikely event that something happens that makes you feel uncomfortable, please notify one of our staff. They will alert the persons charged with knowing how to handle uncomfortable situations.
