Come on out and join us on Sunday APRIL 26th from 2 – 5 pm for our monthly Rope Group, facilitated by -jare-.
TOPIC Please join us on Sunday 4/26/2026 from 2-5pm to learn how to make your own rope from a varied type of fibers. You only need one type of the listed fibers below, but feel free to bring others if you want to try.
Please check the weather as we will be outside if it is nice and you may want sunscreen and hats. If it is raining we will be indoors. If working with jute/hemp, you will be working with flames
We will still have some space for open tie/skill share for those between making rope or who are less interested in making rope.
Below is the list of items and suggested brands/suppliers you will need to make each type of rope in the lengths listed. Typically each person can make one or maybe two lengths during class, depending on group size

There will still be plenty of space and time for open tie/skill share. It is great to see people helping each other out and trying new things in a supportive environment. If you see someone doing something you would like to learn, ask if they would be willing to show you. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
If anyone would like to teach a planned class or host a discussion topic, please let Jareball know and he’ll make space for that in the future.
