Fireplay Basics
Fire has fascinated, and frightened, man (and woman!) for thousands of years. Fire play is edge play; turned into an art that is exciting and ecstatic, and sultry and sensuous. Playing with fire can be sensual, erotic, and painless… or ‘punishing’ to the masochist in your life. Each person will develop their own style, their own approach, and their own technique.

So, if you always wanted to see if your partner would like a kiss of fire over the torso, or to experiment with the patterns those cups leave on the back? This workshop will allow you to learn safely with the goal of providing enough of the basics that you should be able to do this at home, or a nearby play space. Markher and the pennygurl like to have fun with their fire play and they hope to impart a sense of confidence in others to explore and experiment.

This workshop will include information on:
— The “fire kit”: what you want to have with you to play with fire
— Safety aspects: the constant attention to the details of the process
— Fleshing: using fire wands to create sensations and fiery trails
— The ‘pennygurl cheater method’: the ‘5 minute fire cupping’ technique
— Cupping: applying (and moving) those octopus suckers
— Don’t make us bring out the “pitcher of doom”!

Still have time on the clock? Safety police haven’t shut the class down? The pennygurl hints that there may be demos of these techniques, and she isn’t going to do this all by herself! she likes to SHARE! So if you’re the adventuresome type… let us know! We will drag you up front and if we can find the right volunteer, we will do pitchers of doom.

Join Markher and the pennygurl as they answer your fiery questions and show you how to do the basics of fire-play… you’ll have fun and learn a thing or two!

Our doors will be open at 3:30 pm, class begins promptly at 4, and runs for about 1 ½ hours.
We hope to stimulate your interest and answer some of your questions.

Attendees must have either the educational membership (cost is $10 for a one year membership, which can be upgraded to a full membership for $50 within the first 30 days of purchase by attending a new member orientation), or a full membership which can only be purchased after attending our new member orientation class. We do need to see your current government issued ID for age verification and for a RSO (registered sex offender) check.

If you are not a full member, you may want to stay afterwards for our new member orientation, which is a requisite class if you wish to become a full member.
Membership is required if you wish to attend Academy – AFA lifestyle events.
