Step through time with us tonight and dress to suit your favorite decade or time period through history.(DRESSING TO THEME IS ALWAYS AN OPTIONAL ACTIVITY)AFA SATURDAY PLAY PARTY! \nOur Saturday play parties are open to all full members. Meet up with current friends and make some new ones. Doors open at 6pm for all new members with orientation beginning promptly at 6:30pm. Current members are allowed entry for check in at 6:45pm with entry past the lobby starting at 7pm. \nWe are a very welcoming group of kinksters. Grab some food to share and head on up to Cleveland! \nFor more information about the Academy-AFA\, including rules and membership\, please visit our website at http://www.cle-afa.com. \nWe are open 7pm to 2am. \nFirst Timers and Renewals are Welcome! \nNew to AFA? You MUST attend our orientation class to become a member. Please arrive by 6pm to complete your paperwork; make sure to bring a valid government issued ID. The orientation runs about 45 minutes and begins promptly at 6:30pm in our conference room. After purchasing an annual membership\, you can stay and enjoy that night’s play party for free or receive a voucher good for one play party admission. \nPrevious members wishing to renew: All memberships that have been expired more than 1 year are required to attend the orientation class before being able to renew. Check the expiration date on your card\,if it has been more than 1 year since your membership expired you will need to take the orientation class mentioned above. If you are unsure of your expiration date\, please email info@cle-afa.com with your first name\, and the first initial of your last name or your membership number and we will let you know when your membership expired. \nCurrent members are also welcome to come through the doors anytime prior to closing. \nOur scheduled parties are on every Saturday night of the month (unless stated otherwise). SUMMARY:AFA Saturday April 25th\, Impact 201 & Skills Lab with Ren
DESCRIPTION:Our class this month is Impact 201 taught by @callmeren . This class is offered as an introduction to the implements used in impact play. Impact is one of the significant ways that sensation is administered to the body and is often considered a starting point when entering the BDSM lifestyle. There will be hands on learning time during this class. Please feel free to bring your own implements or borrow some. \nBefore engaging in impact play\, it is important to understand a few fundamentals. While impact play can involve the use of a wide variety of implements\, the resultant sensations derived from their proper use should be understood by the participants. \nWe will begin to explore the types of impact items\, the variations of materials and design\, and how their sensations affect the body. There will also be a discussion on how different items are best used and the problem areas to avoid. An opportunity to try various items will follow the discussion. AFA has items available for use if attendees do not have their own. \nThis class is open to anyone who has an educational or full membership. Attendees may bring their own implements if they so choose. Doors open at 2:30. Class begins promptly at 3p.m. \nWhile we are kinky this event is not. Please come dressed in grandma friendly attire. \nThere is no cost to attend this class. Attendees must have either the educational membership (cost is $10 for a one year membership\, which can be upgraded to a full membership for $50 within the first 30 days of purchase by attending a new member orientation)\, or a full membership for $60 which can only be purchased after attending our new member orientation class.
